DIRECTV has been bringing European soccer to America for decades. Now, as a part of their presenting partnership with the Soccer Champion’s Tour, we developed the strategy for a month long branded takeover of one of America’s iconic soccer bars.
Creates an Immersive Space
We crafted a plan to use the Football Factor at Legends sports bar in Midtown Manhattan as a springboard for a month of soccer activation. From viewing parties, DJs, trivia nights, flea markets, and player appearances, the Champions Lounge was the heart of the NYC soccer scene.
To Build Connections
Fans turned out by the thousands to watch matches and connect with the soccer community, while VIPs enjoyed elevated spaces for networking and enjoying the myriad events.
